The painting  The Starry Night  from 1888  is a work that was created during the artist’s psychiatric therapy and is painted entirely from memory and based on Van Gogh’s imagination. Thanks to this, a completely fantastic work was created with a dramatic atmosphere of the night sky, swirling nebulae from which bright stars and a warm moon break through. The painting perfectly presents the contrasts that reflected the artist’s character. The work is part of the permanent collection, which can be admired at  the Museum of Modern Art  in New York.
